The Depression Clinical Research Program has studies offering treatment for different types of depression. All interested participants will be assessed to determine eligibility prior to enrollment.

OPTIMUM-D (Ages 18-65)

Does combined treatment for depression lead to better outcomes? Does choosing a treatment plan based on prediction improve depression outcomes?

This Canada wide project is recruiting adults seeking treatment for depression. Participants receive evidence-based antidepressant treatment while helping researchers improve how depression is treated through more personalized approaches to care.

TIDE (Ages 12-25)

What factors make it more likely for a young person experiencing depression for the first time to recover and stay well with the use of an antidepressant versus psychological therapy? Can we predict treatment outcomes for first episode depression?

This study provides evidence-based treatment for young people experiencing their first episode of depression while helping researchers identify which treatments work best for different individuals.
